The Sturgeon Point Route is a 5.6 mile round-trip self-guided bike tour beginning in Harrisville. Pass by historic buildings while meandering the streets of this quaint village. Travel up Heritage 23 to Sturgeon Point. There you will visit historic Bailey School, one of the few remaining log schoolhouses in Michigan. Your tour culminates at the Sturgeon Point Light which became operational to mark the hazard of Sturgeon Point which juts out into Lake Huron and offers spectacular views of the sparkling water and hours of rock collecting. Both the keeper's house and tower are open to the public.
