DESCRIPTION:There's one more way to have fun at the Alcona County Fair this year! On Thursday night\, dance the way city folks can only envy\, at a contra dance sponsored by Inspiration Alcona. A contra dance is part square dance\, part line dance\, part memories of country life\, but mostly a great way to spend an evening. A lesson for beginners starts the event\, and dancers of every age and ability are welcome. The music is live. Just $5 per person at the door. At the Alcona County Fairgrounds\, on Barlow Road just north of M-72.\n
