DESCRIPTION:Check out this live performance of "Wait Until Dark" at the Civic Theatre. \nSusy Hendrix\, a blind housewife\, becomes the target of three con-men searching for heroin hidden in a doll that Susy's husband unwittingly transported from Canada. The con-men come up with a scheme to find the doll while Susy's husband is at work\, but Gloria\, a little girl in the upstairs apartment\, has stolen it. Susy asks "Mike" one of the con-men posing as an old friend\, for help. "Mike" feels sympathy for Susy\, but when the doll is found\, the plot thickens. Susy is blind but not helpless. Soon Susy and Gloria are devising a plot of their own.
