Trinity Episcopal Church presents the popular concert series "Flute and Friends" in its sixth annual performance. Hosted by flutist MaryAnn Hubbard, this year's concert will feature WindSong (a flute quartet), Music 4U (folk/pop band), Alpena Symphony Orchestra strings, a percussion ensemble, Marlo Broad (soprano), Eric Lawson (violin) and a 20-piece flute ensemble playing music written for Flute Choir.
"Flute and Friends" is unique in that it is programmed to involve flutists playing with many other non-flutist local musicians of professional level. Also making this program unique is that the music performed embraces many genres and styles of music to appeal to audiences of all different musical tastes.
