Join Us for Our Second Annual Traditional Wooden Boat Rowing and Sailing Regatta. The three race event offers an opportunity for all to participate. August 22, 2015, East Tawas State Dock. We expect more competitors this year.
Taylor’s Race Against the Clock: A time trial style event of approximately 2,500 yards, for a rowing crew of 5 (coxswain and 4 rowers) Put together a crew, get signed up, get some practice time on the water and get ready to race. You provide the crew, we provide the boat. Race against the clock and the crew with the fastest time wins.
Tawas Bay Dash: An open rowing race of approximately 2,500 yards for traditional style wooden rowing boats. Bring your boat and crew and lets race.
Tawas Bay Windward/Leeward Sailing Race: An open race for traditional style wooden sailing boats. Bring your boat and crew and lets sail.
