The Friends of Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and Dork Brothers Racing Team presents... the FOURTH ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE PADDLES & CRAFT BEER TASTING EVENT!
This SUP/kayak/canoe race is held at Rotary Island and racers paddle up and down the Thunder Bay River over several heats. Race viewing will be held on the roof deck at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center with live music and craft beer tasting featuring brews from Austin Brothers Beer Company including two special cask releases brewed for this event!
Taps will be pouring on the roof deck beginning at 4:30 PM and running through 8:00 PM. You must be 21+ to be on the roof deck, but we will have river-front seating areas for our younger friends to enjoy the race!
