WWI Memorial Exhibit Opens with Presentation

Opening reception of the WWI Exhibit at the Besser Museum, featuring: “Les Terribles Go to War! Michigan in World War I” by Kamila Mazurek with an introduction by Northeast Michigan Genealogical Society President, RoseMarie Guthrie.

​Presented by the Northeast Michigan Genealogical Society and the Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan.

When: Saturday, April 29th

Time: Reception will be open from 3:00pm—5:00pm. Presentation will begin at 3:30pm.

Cost: General Admission

​Kamila Mazurek
Born and educated in Poland, Kamila Mazurek is a linguist, teacher, author, speaker, and translator. She has over a decade of experience in Eastern and Central European research. Her special interests are also genetic genealogy, Polish-American research, and multiculturalism in pre-war Poland. Kamila Mazurek is an active member of several American and European genealogical societies. General Admission applies.
