Negwegon State Park Snack and Stroll

Pack a lunch and join us for a hike on July 19, 2017 to see the sites of Negwegon State Park hosted by retired forester, Dave Riegle.

This trek and treat will be a total of a 4.4 mile walk.  The guided hike will start at the parking lot, continue to the furthest site “South Point” and return to the starting point.  A lunch break will be provided before the hike back to the parking lot. 

Meet: Alcona Township Hall at 9:30 a.m. (5576 US-23, Black River, MI 48721)

Hikers must provide their own packed lunch. Be prepared for walking and eating in rustic areas.  A current Recreation Passport is required.

Event will take place at Negwegon State Park, but participants should meet at the Alcona Township Hall at 9:30 a.m. (5576 US-23, Black River, MI 48721) on July 19th.
