Showing today at 1:00 pm at NOAA’s visitor center, the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, 500 W. Fletcher St., in Alpena, MI in partnership with the Alpena County Library’s "Native Voices" exhibit and program series. The film screening is free. Featuring stunning footage from seven winters in the Arctic, People of a Feather takes you through time into the world of the Inuit on the Belcher Islands in Canada's Hudson Bay. Inspired by Inuit ingenuity and the technology of a simple feather, the film is a call to action to implement energy solutions that work with nature. This is a documentary film and is not rated.
