The Christmas Tree Ship

This FREE educational program uses the book, The Christmas Tree Ship by Jeanette Winter to explore this Great Lakes story.

Participants will:

  • Listen to a reading of The Christmas Ship
  • Make and take a holiday ornament
  • Talk about historical materials that help us discover the past.
Exhibits open during program, enjoy:
  • Free hot chocolate and popcorn
  • Film: Stranger in the Woods (25 min) playing all day in theater
  • Science on a Sphere Theater: special data sets and films
  • Hands on Discovery Cart
