The Alcona Arts Retreat offers this public dance as part of its long weekend of art and music workshops. People taking the classes will be there, of course, but the whole county is invited to Lost Lake Woods Club to dance along to the country tunes that are so much the heritage of the nation. If the weather is good, we'll dance in the pavilion by Badger Lake. Don't hesitate just because you haven't danced this way before. It's part square dance, part line dance and easy to learn. In fact, a lesson for beginners starts the event.
Come to Lost Lake Woods Club on Barlow Road north of M-72. Drive in to the lodge parking lot and follow the sounds to the dance.
