Description: Carrying 377,000 bushels of wheat from Duluth for Buffalo, the steel bulk freighter D.R. Hanna was run into and sunk by the steamer Quincy A. Shaw. Available from May to September, the moorings make for safer diving and also protect shipwrecks from anchor damage. Sanctuary regulations require vessels to use moorings when present.
