Tomahawk Creek Flooding is a popular site for fishing. The lake contains several species of fish, including bluegill, crappie, perch, bass, bullhead and northern pike. Two campgrounds and two concrete launch ramps are located on the floodwaters and can handle most single-axle trailers. The lake is famous for its unique area of flooded timbers at its south end. This area is home to lunker bass and pike as well as eagles and osprey.
