Find your favorite of eight (8) haiku to be displayed along US 23 Heritage Route for the Lake Huron Discovery Tour as you drive along the Route, and share your thoughts on Facebook.
If you are interested in creating an original haiku work for the Tour, submit original works and adhere to the Haiku form: 17-syllable verse consisting of three metrical units of 5,7 and 5 syllables. Deadline for submission is midnight on Sept. 25. Limit two submissions per person. Send creation as an e-mail attachment to susanlanefoundation@gmail.com. Include your name, street address and phone number in the body of the e-mail. Submissions will be considered by the SLF Board of Directors. Poets of selected haiku will be notified.
