Whiskey Point Pottery will hold its second annual Fall Open House during the Heritage Route 23 Discovery Tour dates. This is a working studio with attached art gallery in front. Hundreds of functional pieces are available for purchase as well as ceramic jewelry and ornaments. If the weather is mild, the studio will be open for short tours showing how the pottery is made and fired. Appointments are welcome if you arrive outside of open house hours. Grand Lake Rd. runs between Grand Lake and Lake Huron. It ends at a peninsula which has two lighthouses. Whiskey Point Pottery is on this road. Turn East onto Grand Lake Road at the Hide a Way Bar and follow it for 8 miles to the studio.
