Join us for a unique hands-on experience for 3 hours aboard our 77′ schooner Inland Seas. Students become Great Lakes scientist for the day. This is great for a family and students eager to learn about the ecosystem and sailing!
Not only will you learn about the ecosystem, you will also learn how to sail. Become part of the maritime sailing tradition by raising the anchor, hoisting the sails, and steering the schooner. While the schooner is under sail, small groups move through a series of learning stations.
Some educational highlights of this 3 hour sail include:
- Learning about the Great Lakes ecosystem
- Trawling for fish
- Collecting plankton
- Sampling the lake bottom
- Completing water quality tests
- and much more!

Tickets are $35.00. Additional sailing times are 7/15 at 9:30 am and 7/16 at 2:30 pm.
