Start off 2016 on the right foot with a hike!
Join the Friends of Rockport to hike the beautiful trails at Besser Natural Area on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from Noon to 3 pm. Bring snow shoes, cross country skis or if there's no snow- walking shoes. A limited number of snow shoes will be available to borrow, courtesy of the MDNR. A bonfire and free refreshments will be provided. Directions: Besser Natural Area is located in Presque Isle, 5 miles from US-23 on Grand Lake Rd. Continue east on Grand Lake Rd. at the Rayburn Hwy. intersection. Besser Natural Area is on right before Bell Bay Rd. For more details call 989-734-2543.
