Mackinaw City’s Hometown Christmas Light Parade and Tree Lighting Friday, December 10th at 6 pm
Santa Claus arrives in Mackinaw City during the Hometown Christmas Light Parade and Tree Lighting atop a fire truck as the parade proceeds along Central Ave. to Marina Park. Join in singing carols led by members of the Mackinaw City Area Arts Council prior to the lighting of the Christmas tree. Enjoy the festivities with the entire family – a holiday tradition for the entire community! There will be cookies provided by the Mackinaw Woman’s Club and cocoa provided by Audie’s Restaurant after the tree lighting.
Parade – 6:00 pm
Tree Lighting – 6:30 pm

The parade staging begins at 5:30 pm at Shepler’s remote parking lot just West of I-75 on Central Ave. At 6:00 pm, we will proceed down Central Ave. toward Marina Park where Santa will do the honors of lighting the Christmas tree.
This event is hosted by the Village of Mackinaw City and the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce with special guest appearance from Santa Claus himself.
