Welcome to the Annual Northern Lights Christmas Parade and Community Celebration! Don’t miss the fun this year! Call the Chamber or visit our website for registration (Parade Participants, fundraiser groups/vending at OTWP, Reindeer Fun Run). Reindeer Fun Run/Walk starts at 2:00 pm (sign-in between 1:30 –2:00) on Furtaw Field. This is a self-timed stroll encouraging the community to stay active during the Holidays – all shapes and sizes and ages and species welcome! Cocoa starting at 4:00 pm on Dwight Street sponsored by Oscoda Area CVB. Yummy treats served in front of the Oscoda Township Fire Barn—Call the Chamber to register your group for vending or fundraising! Lighted Parade at 6 pm on US-23 thru downtown. Bundle up the kids- come and welcome Santa Claus to the Oscoda Area! Registration is free, but required through the OACC, and your Float or Marching Group will be entered the Best in Glow competition, sponsored by P&L Development! Prizes for categories: Industrial, Business, Non-Profit, and Family/Youth.
