Carson Prichard is an avid angler and outdoorsman.  He received his PhD in earth and ecosystem science from Central Michigan University in 2018.  His research in fisheries science, Great Lakes ecology, and the fish populations in Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.  Carson explores the personal, scientific, and community dimensions of the Lake Huron Chinook salmon fisheries crashes.  Carson launches his new book, "The Salmon Capital of Michigan: The Rise and Fall of the Great Lakes Fisheries" on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00pm Rogers Theater.  The program is free with a book signing to follow.
