The Huron Shores Heritage Route will take you to hundreds of opportunities to get out and enjoy what makes the Sunrise Coast special - the outdoors. You'll find countless opportunities to take in spectacular views of Lake Huron and inland lakes on secluded beaches. Visit natural areas and wildlife sanctuaries to photograph the local wildlife in places like Tuttle Marsh. Visit the spectacular bird watching areas like Tawas Point. Take a sleigh ride through elk country in the winter before heading inside for fine dining near the stone fireplace. Stop at a local farm and pick your own bounty or visit one of the many local farmer's markets to grab yourself a taste of locally-grown northeast Michigan! You'll find over 300 hidden treasures along the Sunrise Coast in "Outdoor & Farm Fun"!
